Week 2

Fashion Studies

Week Two
Today is the start of the second week of school and the first formal day of courses. Despite the fact that it is already the second week of school, I can't stop myself from fantasizing about the holidays. It wasn't until our tutor allowed us to begin our second assignment that I realized I needed to let go of my holiday cosines and lethargy and get myself enriched. I need to change my mindset and take action.

Task 2 was an individual task that focused on our investigation of fashion and the fundamentals of design proportions. We were challenged to complete our project and exhibit an understanding of design components and dimensions using a manual cut and paste approach. The 10 design we designed contained shapes, lines, textures, and materials. Each of the designs were then attached to an A3 piece of paper. In class today, our teacher underlined the design components and principles of fashion to assist us better understand the essential core of this work.

Furthermore, our tutor has made copies of the nine-headed bodies that we will require for this assignment. And our mission today is to cut out these human bodies dynamically. Then we had to acquire and cut out items from magazines that we thought fascinating and favorite that our tutor had given us to prepare ahead of time. Before the lesson concluded, tutor demonstrated the tutorial for us. By the end of the session, I had begun to explore ideas and inspirations, and I had constructed a number of outfits in magazines based on my personal taste. Then I cut them out in order to go on to the next part of this project.
