Week 6

This week is week 6, and last week I finished my collection on all the things that happened before the First World War. And this week my goal is that I intend to successfully complete the query to gather the rest of the information and design the infographic poster. Since next week is the date to submit the assignment so this week, I had to finish everything.

Since I was not familiar with the clothing trends of the 1910's, I had to browse through different websites instead of just gathering information from the same site. Since the content was so extensive, I was asked to answer questions on the timeline based on the questions given in the assignment.

After taking the time to finish collecting the timeline I thankfully had time to design the infographic posters. Because the 1910s is a long, long time ago and has some history. So, I thought of designing my infographic poster in a vintage style, so I used a vintage book page as the background of my infographic poster. I also changed the font style to a vintage style to fit the theme.

I then took my previous collection of 1910s clothing trends such as historical context, culture and all the questions that needed to be answered and put them in a different year to answer. Finally, an introduction was added as well as a summary. I also used the 1910's clothing in my informational poster in order to make it look more beautiful and interesting.

In the end I loved the infographic posters I designed myself and felt fortunate to be able to learn about subjects I had never known or touched before. In addition to that, I had more work to do for this assignment than the previous one, plus I had other subjects to submit the day before I submitted this assignment. Therefore, I think that scheduling is a very important thing.
