Week Eight

This week has come and gone for the eighth week. In tutoring sessions our teachers talked to us about the needs of the final mission. This final assignment is a group project, and we were required to form group of four to work together to accomplish this final assignment.

For this project we need to carry out research within the group, analyzing trend studies and concepts. The purpose of this assignment is to make the students understand the complete fashion designing process and have to complete the stages of forecasting the latest trends, conceptualizing, creating brand personality, designing and final styling in sequence.

For my group assignment I was joined by Akira, Jiaxin and Fade. initially we needed to come up with a theme for the assignment and since we all happen to be into games, it made us all think of the classic game from our childhood which is Super Mario Omega. So, it reminded all of us of the classic game from our childhood which is Super Mario.

After deciding on Super Mario as our mission theme we started making mood boards together. Because Super Mario's theme colors are all bright colors, after some discussion we decided on pink, red, yellow, green and blue as our theme colors for this time. The mood board is the first thing we start and finish. Our mood board are done in photoshop, mood board are collections of visual materials that evoke a particular theme, style or concept. Each of us worked together to find different photos and styles that would represent the theme, and then after cutting and lining up all of the photos to complete the mood board.
