Week 10

 WEEK 10

This week is week 10. Last week we assigned each team member to work together individually on the Concept Board, the Trends Board, and the Muse Board. Akira and I finished our muse boards before this week. The other team members also completed their own task boards. After that we had to start designing six different outfits for our theme. There were three of us and each of us was responsible for designing two outfits each. In order to fit in with our theme, I decided to design two outfits using the elements of rainbows and stars from Mario. My first outfit was a dress with an organza bow on top and a fluffy skirt. The top of this dress is a tight birth style. The second outfit I associate with trendy wear is a tank top on the inside and a spotted jacket on the outside. The bottom part of this outfit is a denim skirt which also has elements with stars on it. After the teacher's approval and affirmation, we began to color our drafts. For the dress I used the colors of the rainbow while for the other wearable I used rose pink. At first for the jacket my idea was to use red as the base color and white as the spot color. Because of the colors that go with this Super Mario Gulli. But because of this color matching in my design is a bit unflattering. So, I changed it to rose pink as the base color and black as the spot color.
